We were very proud to be named the Best Storage Business in the “Best of Barrie” people’s choice awards through the Barrie Examiner. We are a file storage company made up of dedicated people involved in several charitable activities and fiercely proud of the community in which we live. We will work hard to ensure you receive the quality and service in everything we do. Our reputation depends on it. An active member of the local community, Archive Document Storage has been involved in charitable activities such as Gilda’s Club, the Barrie Food Bank and Barrie Christmas Cheer. Also, the “Archive Argos” Dragonboat team has helped raise funds and awareness for the Give to Live Foundation.

Ryan Giffen CEORyan Giffen
CEO

Ryan was born and raised on the family farm in the small town of Minesing, Ontario, located on the outskirts of Barrie. Like most other kids in southern Ontario, Ryan grew up playing hockey on an outdoor rink in Minesing, participating in Springwater baseball, and hitting the links daily to play golf.
Ryan was introduced to the document management industry nearly 10 years ago where he has been involved in operations of one of the largest national document destruction companies featuring over 60 locations across the United States. After receiving feedback from numerous local business owners regarding the lack of service and flexibility in the Ontario market, Ryan knew it was time to return to his roots to create an industry-changing service with a local flair for the residents and businesses of central Ontario. This decision led to the creation of Shred North and Archive Document Storage.

Daryl WoytowiczDaryl Woytowicz
General Manager

Daryl made a decision to move to the area in 1996 and is now proud to call Barrie home. As a busy father, he lives vicariously through his kids’ extracurricular activities – even volunteering to coach Little League sports. Lately, Daryl has been working hard to improve his French language skills – since he is the lone Anglophone in an otherwise bilingual household. Bonne Chance (Good Luck) Daryl!
Professionally, Daryl has been working in the document industry for nearly 20 years. He’s been waiting for the paperless office for 20 years and realizes that he may have to wait another 20 years! He started his business career helping local companies with document printing and copying. Coming full circle, he now stores and shreds those very same documents.
